We will update the pages regularly with news from the Year 5 classes and with each week's home work. Remember to check your maths teachers' class blog for your weekly home learning.
5L were asked to use Scratch (a program to help learn the skills of coding) to create an algorithm that make a ball move across a grid and leave a pattern while it was moving. To be successful, the class had to break down the problem into small, simple steps.
Ilian, however, went one step further. His algorithm allows the user to take control. They can move the ball around the grid and choose the pattern they make by pressing the arrow keys and the 's' key. To clear the pattern, you need to press 'c'.
