It may have taken the stone age people many years to complete the wonder that is Stonehenge, but fortunately our paper versions took less time. Here are some examples with their proud creators.
A Victorian Lesson
Children have been writing stories in English based on settings that they know. Last week they found a small object on the playground and it took them back in time. When they came in from break their room had been converted to a Victorian class, with desks in rows and chalk and slated set out on each desk. Even worse, they were greeted at the door by a very scary teacher holding a cane. The children learnt a lot about Victorian schools and wrote some excellent stories. To my surprise they wanted to do it all again the next day!
