Bernards Heath Junior School was built in 1952 on land given for the purpose of education by Earl Spencer.  The school was extended in 2011 to accommodate an increase from two to three forms of entry.  This new extension, built in 2011 includes three classrooms, a music suite, an IT suite, some small teaching rooms as well as a cloakroom and toilets.  This extension was opened by the present Earl Spencer in 2011.

Our school is pleasantly situated in spacious, well-kept grounds with an open outlook.
