Re-imagining Art Challenge
Wow! We are so impressed with the art challenge pictures we have been sent! You have clearly taken lots of time over them and have replicated them in very creative ways- well done! (To see them, look below).
We've decided to continue this challenge this week so if you haven't had a try yet you still have time. If you have already had a go, you could try another or could try a different way of replicating a piece of art.
This week's art activity is inspired by something many people are trying whilst in lockdown. Museums, such as the Getty museum in Los Angeles, are encouraging people to recreate pieces of artwork whilst they have to stay at home. People all across the world have tried it out with some amusing results!
What to do:
Choose a picture you would like to recreate. You might want to do this with people at home or you may want to use household items instead. Some people have used Lego or other toys to recreate a painting.
If you are able to, you could take a photo and share it with us. If you are happy to have your picture posted on here just let us know when you send it in (make sure you get permission from an adult at home) and we'll put up for others to see.
Emmylou Fine Art activities
If you would like to complete any extra art activities then you might like to try Emmylou's free Youtube sessions. There are lots of different topics to choose from. (If you don't have the materials that Emmylou has you can always use something else instead.)

Also, we are now aware that Emmylou is offering virtual private art classes, as well as taking bookings for children's parties in the future. Please check out her website for more information!
