Create a Rainbow

Create a rainbow

You may have noticed lots of people with rainbows in their windows.  This idea came about a few weeks ago and went viral on social media.  The idea is, when people are out for their daily walk/exercise, they can look for rainbows wherever they go.  Hopefully, someone will see the bright coloured rainbows and it will put a smile on their face.  Wouldn’t that be lovely, to make someone smile?

Think about what media you will use to create your rainbow.  You could use paints, pens or pencils.  You could cut up newspapers and magazines and create a collage.  You can use any other resources you might have at home (glitter, felt, foam, fabric, patterned paper – like wrapping paper, etc.)

If you are able to get out for a walk, whilst adhering to the social distancing guidelines, have a look for rainbows in the windows of the houses you pass.

When it rains, look for rainbows
